The textbook was prepared by the staff of the Urology Department of the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy and the Institute of Urology and Human Reproductive Health of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and is intended for students of the residency and the faculty of advanced training for doctors. The textbook examines the main anatomical, physiological and biochemical aspects of erection, the etiology, pathophysiology and classification of erectile dysfunction, and describes methods for diagnosing and treating various forms of erectile dysfunction in military personnel in relation to the conditions of military hospitals of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
