METHOD AND ALGORITHMS OF MULTI-CRITERIA EVALUATION OF GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACES OF SOFTWARE PRODUCTS OF THE MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OF RUSSIA
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents a new author's method of multi-criteria evaluation of the effectiveness of information systems and software products, which consists of three algorithms that comprehensively analyze the graphical user interface in such areas as the optimality of the spatial and temporal location of graphic elements, the aesthetics of the visual component and the adequacy of the logic of interaction with programs. Due to the use of mathematical apparatus and constants from various fields of research, the final assessment is independent of the subjective opinions of experts, which increases the accuracy and adequacy of the calculation results. The developed scientific and methodological tools can be successfully applied in the EMERCOM system of Russia in order to select the most effective software from a range of alternatives of similar purpose and functionality.
