THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC FACTORS ON THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE ECONOMY OF RUSSIAN ENTERPRISES
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
This paper examines the impact of socioeconomic factors on the sustainable development of Russian enterprises in the context of geopolitical instability, sanctions pressure, and the digital transformation of the economy. It examines the triune concept of sustainable development, encompassing economic, social, and environmental components, as well as modern approaches to formulating sustainable development strategies at the enterprise level. It also analyzes the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals for the period up to 2030 and the extent to which they align with Russia's national development goals. Particular attention is paid to the role of digital innovation, gender equality, and information transparency as factors in the competitiveness of Russian companies in the global market. A comparative analysis of Russian and international sustainable development indices is provided. The need for legislative enshrinement of ESG standards in Russia and improvement of non-financial reporting by companies is substantiated. It is concluded that the long-term economic security of enterprises is inseparable from adherence to sustainable development principles and the active implementation of digital technologies in business processes.
