This article assesses the effectiveness of government support measures for small and medium-sized businesses in the healthcare sector in St. Petersburg, with a particular emphasis on their impact on the country's economy and the population's quality of life. It examines various forms of support, such as financial subsidies, tax incentives, and information programs, which aim to stimulate the growth of small and medium-sized businesses, develop medical services, and improve access to healthcare. The study analyzes how these measures contribute to increased employment, regional development, and improved socioeconomic status. The article identifies key issues within the support system and proposes solutions to enhance the socioeconomic resilience of both the region and Russia as a whole.
