The problem of safety of production at the industrial enterprises always was and remains actual. Accidents or destructions of a crane metalwork are caused by influence of many factors, but always caused by formation of defects in design elements. When loading a metalwork in places of concentration of tension there can be the plastic deformation, being accompanied heat allocation. It is offered to trace a thermovision method of nondestructive control arising cracks in a crane metalwork at a stage of their origin. The mathematical assessment of power of allocation of warmth is given in article.
