The role and importance of modern communication systems using unmanned aircraft in ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation, including in the context of a special military operation to protect the population of Donbass, is shown. The possibilities of using unmanned aerial vehicles to improve information security and the effectiveness of fleet forces management during special military operations are considered. A variant of the organization of communication of the ship's grouping with the use of unmanned aircraft as repeaters is presented. Prospects for the development of unmanned aviation for improving military information exchange systems are outlined.
