The article addresses to the importance of industry and the industrial policy to ensure global competitiveness. It is showcased that the rejection of the classical competitive market development doctrine in favor of the integration of economic knowledge is the indispensable condition for innovation technetronic breakthrough in todays’s world. Based on this view, the author justifies the necessity of a coordinated inter-state industrial policy of Belarus and Russia aimed on the new industrialization.
